Nantucket natives Sabrina Dawson and Gaven Norton wanted to create a unique neighborhood restaurant providing a place where locals can dine year-round and enjoy a casual, friendly atmosphere. Most island restaurants are only open during peak tourist months and dining options in the off season are extremely limited. Keepers hopes to fill this greatly needed niche with an approachable price point. With Sabrina’s local restaurant background (Fog Island Cafe) and Gaven’s island business experience (ACK Surf School), they are taking their love for Nantucket and creating a fun, vibrant local dining spot. Keepers menu is a collaboration of our favorite dishes that we love to eat and are passionate about cooking. We offer our guests the freedom to create their own dining experience with our unique “Pair & Share” philosophy. Guests can customize their meal by pairing menu selections together and sharing is highly encouraged with family-style plating options. We believe in eating together: Great food and fun times are meant to be shared. At Keepers Restaurant, we embrace our Nantucket roots and aspire to be an integral part of the amazing community and beautiful island we are so lucky to live in. Super bummed that they took the lobster slidders off the menu :( All food, drinks and service was great. Everyone LOVED the wings, broccoli and pea plaenta. Always a go to when on the island.

Amazing food and service! I absolutely LOVED my salmon I got for dinner--perfectly golden, crispy crust and still moist and flavorful. I even came back the next morning for breakfast and got the Keeper sandwich. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality, and that the chefs know what they are doing. Can't wait for my next trip out to Nantucket so I can try something new!

Wonderful friendly staff!! Incredible meal that wasn't overly expensive (as we all know Nantucket can be). I had the salmon tacos for my meal and it was incredible with the perfect amount of food including a side. Amazing people and such a lovely environment for everyone to enjoy!

This place is a hidden gem on the island. Everything about my two experiences there were absolutely perfect. Excellent food, great service and drinks. The cod was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning.

Stop reading reviews; just go. The man Jason behind the kitchen door is next-level, putting his own slight spin on classics and favorites. Nothing too far over the top or too out of the ordinary: just good food all around. The wait staff was also A+. This is definitely my new must-visit whenever I have the chance to be on the island. Seriously, I can't believe you've read this far. Just get there!

Loved it! Buffalo wings had a great taste ! not your typical drenched in Franks Hot but a smoked spicy taste with chicken that fell off the bone. butternut squash, shrimp tacos, veggie quesadillas , get it all!

The meal was absolutely amazing the broccoli bits were in point. The meatloaf both ways were perfectly done. And don't forget the potatoes they are so worth it. Had two apps and not one thing out of place right on every tastebud. The bar was great and lively drinks were very taste. The Staff was on point the entire time. Interesting entree selection, but they don't come with any sides. Have to order sides separately, which cost almost as much as another entree. That said, the entrees, and the family style side, were delicious.

My family and I live on Nantucket year round. We've always loved Fog Island, so when we heard that Sabrina and Gavin were opening Keepers we were excited to try it out. This place doesn't disappoint! The food is awesome, the service is great, it's kid and date night friendly. A huge plus is that it is out of town with plenty of parking. I hope they stay open year round because I know my family and I would love to eat here more often. Try the salmon and the smoked wings!
